Anderson Rentals and Sales is the premiere outfitter for scenic tours of the beautiful Maquoketa River.

The Scenic River Trip:
You will begin your trip at Canton and float, or paddle downstream to the Royertown Bridge Access. Along this 8 mile section of the river, you can enjoy Iowa at it's best, with the towering biuffs, trees and wildlife. There are two public access stops on the way. 3 miles from Canton is the 283 acre, Buzzard Ridge Wildlife Area. Another 3 miles downstream is the Millertown Access, just 2.5 before Royertown and the end of your trip.

Specs.
The 8 mile trip takes 3 hours when paddling a canoe or kayak and up to 6 if just floating in a tube. These times don't include any stops.
Everyone must be off the river before dark.
